Commanders can hone their skills in the 7 modes of Anki Overdrive

Anki Overdrive has 7 game modes. You can choose any of the modes to compete with or against up to three friends or AIs in Open Play. Also, each stage of the tournament uses a specific game mode. In addition, you can balance the cars during the current game so everybody has a chance.

Game Modes[]

Be the first commander to complete all the laps and cross the finish line!

TIP: You can not use any weapons in race mode.

Battle Race[]

Be the first commander to complete all the laps and cross the finish line, use your weapons to stop your opponents.

Conquer your opponents in a match that tests both your driving and shooting skills. Use your weapons to drain your opponent's energy and score points. The first commander to score a set number of points wins.

TIP: Players have unlimited lives and earn points by using their weapons to disable their opponents.

King of the Hill[]

Be the first to disable another player and become King. The longer you have the crown, the more points you earn. If someone else is King, disable them to steal their crown! The first commander to reach the point limit wins.

TIP: If a player is detected to be off track, they will lose the crown and it will be up for grabs.

Time Trial[]

A solo race against the clock with a special Boost item. Each Commander will drive one at a time, completing all the laps. The Commander with the lowest overall time wins!

TIP: Boost when exiting turns to help lower your time.

Players start each match in their chosen Supercars. Anyone that can break through a Supertruck’s defenses will take control of the vehicle to wreak havoc on their opponents until another player disables them and takes command of the Supertruck.

TIP:  You will need a Supertruck to play.

One Shot[]

Every car has one weapon: The Golden Sniper. This long range weapon disables a vehicle in a single shot, but takes a long time to reload. Shoot carefully.

Balance Cars[]

All vehicles are balanced to their original spec. Vehicles only have their default weapons, with no upgrades. Meant to test true skills
